Site review with Widesky Homes owner and head designer.
Site meeting with team. We’ll review your ideas with you, and provide guidance as we walk through your new home thoughts and dreams, or your existing home layout.
Estimation and decide if Cost Plus or Fixed Price is best for you.
This is a bit of a different step, and one not many builders offer. You decide which one you prefer. Not sure? We'll show you the differences in both methods. Now that we’ve had a chance to review our notes and think through your home, we’ll confirm the site investment range and provide insights on the different areas.
Begin FREE design process.
That’s right FREE! We take all your design input plus our professional input and design your amazing new home or renovation. Not to worry, its not a one shot only kind of design program. We offer two complementary revisions to get the plan perfect. As long as you decide to build with Widesky Homes then the design is completely FREE. We believe a key to a great renovation is a great design.
Final costing based on completed design.
Once you and your family are happy with the design, we can begin our final estimation process which may include a site trade day for renovations. This will allow us to reduce the number of questions once construction is underway. It will also allow us to pinpoint an exact investment.
Review estimation which contains investment total.
Now that we’ve worked through the design and estimation, we take the time to review both thoroughly with you. This will allow us to answer any questions you may have come up with during the estimation process.
Review and sign contract
Once the investment number aligns with your budget we have one final meeting to review the contract and plan the start of your project. The start date is normally one month after signing.
Begin selections
This is the reason for the month window after signing. This provides you the time required to work with our design team to select everything from cabinets, to floors, to door handles.
Approve selections
We'll make sure all your selections fit perfectly with the overall construction process..
